About Erika

I've been a full-time Educational Specialist in public schools for the past 17 years in a variety of settings. From elementary through high school, I've had the pleasure in seeing how vital it is to have a positive, productive team approach where each family feels as supported and empowered as possible. Having been a teacher in both California and Washington, I've seen the pros, cons, and everything in between in our public education system. When I started seeing the gaps in parent and student support, I knew that I needed to be the bridge in order to ensure that each child received a free and appropriate public education that would put them on the path to lifelong success.

My main goal as an educator and consultant is to help EMPOWER the individual child and their family so that they feel confident to speak up for what is needed to ensure academic, social, and emotional success from kindergarten through high school...and BEYOND.
